Two Week Appointment

Well Chay had his two week appointment today. He is now 8lbs 6oz and is 21 inches long. The doctor checked him over and said we have a very healthy alert little boy. Chay was awake the whole time so he wouldn't miss a thing.

We have been having some issues with formula. We are on our fourth one and think we have finally found the right formula for him. It's not fun watching Chay cry because he's not feeling good.

Tonight we are off to Auntie Lakken's volleyball game. We hope Enderlin wins!!

Chay Turns 1

Well...one week old that is. There was no big celebration, but Mom and Dad took notice of the event.

Another Visit

Chay sure has been the center of attention! At the hospital, one of the nurses said "You sure have had a lot of visitors today!" At one point, we had 13 people crammed into a 12'x12' room. And the visitors have not stopped now that we've been home. Here, Amy and her son Ethan have stopped by to visit Chay.

Pondering the Question

When asked what he wanted in his bottle, Chay paused for a moment, rubbed his chin in reflection, and replied "Coke! Just like Daddy!"

Going Home

Everything checked out great at the hospital! So at 11:30 Monday morning, we were all allowed to go home.

So Many Visitors!

While Chay was in the hospital, he had tons of visitors. Who knew he'd be so popular?!?! Out of all the pictures I took, Tyler hammed it up best for the photo op.

Chay Nicholas

Chay is here! He arrived on 10/11/2008 at 3:18 pm. Chay checks in at 6 lbs 6 oz and is 19.5" long. He has dark hair and big blue eyes. Both mother and child are doing great! So far, he has been very attentive and is constantly checking out the new world around him.

The Date Has Been Set!

We had a doctor appt yesterday and everything went well. The date was set for me to be induced!! We are scheduled to go in on Saturday October 11th at 7:00 am. We will have a NST appt on Tuesday and Friday but no doctor appt next week. Yesterday it hit us both that this will be the last weekend of not being parents. We are getting very excited to meet Baby P!

Today is our 5 year anniversary. We don't have big plans yet but that could change. We have our first Fighting Sioux hockey game on Sunday. We're so excited that hockey season is finally here!

We will keep everyone posted on any more changes and will let you know when the little one arrives.
