Tooth #4

Tooth #4 made its first appearance today. We suspected it was on its way since Chay's teething did not let him sleep well last night. But Chay is now sporting two teeth on the top and two on the bottom!

Moving Forward

Don't be surprised if the next post indicates that Chay is crawling. He is now able to get up on his hands and knees. But for the moment, he just likes rocking back and forth in this position! Someday, he'll figure out that he can move his hands forward and start crawling. The legs already have it figured out. Last night, Chay found out how to do an army-crawl to inch himself forward towards his favorite toy. So he's making great strides!

Tooth #3

Chay has sprouted a new tooth. It is barely noticeable, but it has broken through the gums. This one is on the upper middle of his mouth.

7 Months Old

Chay is 7 months old today. Today's "event" comes on the heels of a very busy weekend. We had a wedding to attend on Saturday (Chay at the wedding in the picture), and yesterday was Mother's Day of course.

Chip of the Old Blocks

Looks like Chay is taking after both of his parents!

Fifth Disease

One of the joys of daycare is that your kid picks up other kid's maladies. At least one of Chay's daycare buddies came down with Fifth Disease. This is pretty mild and you can't really do anything about it. Luckily, it only manifests itself in a rash on the arms and/or redness on the face. After two weeks, it goes away. So its not a big deal, but I had never heard of this before until his daycare saw it.

Long Time

I didn't realize how long it had been since my last post until I signed on today. We've been busy. Chay met his Grandma Keel for the first time a few weeks ago. And it seems like every weekend is busy with tons of activities.
