Crazy Week!

It sure has been a crazy, busy week for Chay. On Tuesday evening, Chay went to Enderlin to watch his Auntie Lakken play in a volleyball game. Thursday, Chay went to the doctor for his two-week checkup. Then Thursday evening, Chay travelled to Casselton to watch Auntie Lakken in a volleyball tournament.
So that's when the craziness really started! Friday was a whirlwind for Chay. It started off with a trip to the photographer for some pictures. Then to Flint Communications to visit Mom's coworkers. Being that it was Halloween, Chay dressed up in his football gear.
After the costume parade at Flint, Chay was wisked away to Grand Forks to attend his first Fighting Sioux hockey game! We're not sure he got to enjoy the game too much. It was probably too loud for him at the game. But we're pretty sure Chay enjoyed watching his namesake, Chay Genoway, #5 in the picture. Chay even made it on the Jumbotron in his very first game!
Chay Genoway found out that some little kid was now named Chay. Mr. Genoway was tickled pink to hear this and wanted to meet little Chay after Friday night's hockey game. Chay G even brought his parents to meet Chay P! Chay also presented little Chay his very first hockey stick and even autographed it. We really appreciated how Mr. Genoway took the time to meet us, pose for pictures, and chat with us. He went above and beyond what any of us expected from him, and we are thankful for the time he took to meet all of us.
On Saturday, Chay travelled to Elbow Lake, MN for a wedding, then back to Grand Forks in time for Saturday nite's hockey game. Instead of dragging him to the game, we let Bonnie watch him for the evening. Chay was pretty worn out after all of the events of the week and one more hockey game may have sent him in to a state of exhaustion. On Sunday, we all took it easy and just sat around the house watching football.
