Flag Football Season Over

Chay played the final game of the season on Monday night. It was the late game, so the kids got to play under the lights. 

Chay's team did really well. They went undefeated, and most games weren't even close. I think they gave up 2 touchdowns the first game of the season and the second one as well. But then they only gave up 1 touchdown for all of the other games combined! Most games, the other team couldn't get past mid-field. 

The coaches liked Chay's speed and quick first step. They had him in critical roles on the team. All this when Chay had never even watched much football, let alone understand how to play the game. So I think we can safely say he had a great season. I'm sure he'll play next Fall as well.

The coach on the left is Owen's dad. Owen and Chay have been soccer teammates for awhile now and Owen was in Chay's kindergarten class last year. The coach on the right is Hudson's dad. Latana grew up with him and Chay played hockey with Hudson last year.
