Winter is Coming!

Thanksgiving has come and gone without a hitch. We had over 30 people in our house for the day. It went well and everyone overate.

A few nights prior to Thanksgiving, the boys attended the annual parade to kick off winter.

Its always cold for this parade, but very well attended. You know the parade ends when Santa and Mrs Claus float past. The boys made a big haul of candy, as if they needed any more so soon after Halloween. We skipped last year due to it being super-cold, but the weather was in the mid 20's this year. Here they can see a truck with Christmas lights on it drive past.

We started putting up sheetrock in the basement.

It makes the basement seem quite a bit different, that's for sure. I'll work on this more over the winter.

All three boys are still active in hockey. I think we figured out that Jenner's biggest problem was getting dressed in the locker room. We started dressing him at home, on the bench, or other places and he has seemed more eager to participate.

We now set our sights on winter and Santa's upcoming visit, as the Fall season is now firmly in the rear view mirror.
