They were invited to a friend's birthday party on the same day as their birthday. They were given a choice, to celebrate with the immediate family or go to that party even if it wasn't technically for them. They chose the other birthday party. We took Jace & Jenner to Chucky Cheese the night before their birthday and they got to open presents when they woke up the next morning. The following weekend, we had a bowling party.
